How to Choose the Right LED Floor Lamp

Sometimes the lights that we have in our ceilings or on the walls just are not enough. To get the amount of light we need in our interior spaces, we might need to turn to the floor. TORCHSTAR’s LED floor lamps are great for adding that extra bit of lighting to our interior spaces. But it’s important that we be careful and make sure that the lamp we are choosing compliments the interior of the room it will be placed in. In this article, we will be going over how to choose the right floor lamp for your interior.

When choosing a floor lamp, you need to take into account the style of the room you will be placing it in. An all metal floor lamp with dark colors would look out of place when placed in a light colored room with primarily wooden furniture. Clashing styles can make things out of place and awkward when looked at. Retro style floor lamps would be more complimentary if used in a retro living room than in ones that are rustic.

Choosing a floor lamp with a style that matches or compliments the style of the room it will be placed in is a good way to go about doing things. For both retro and modern style interior spaces, the two models of LEONLITE’s track tree floor lamps are a great match. One has adjustable open cage lampshades that gives you control of the lighting direction while the other has amber glass lampshades that wash the room in a warm, relaxing glow.

For those that prefer a more modern furnishing style, LEONLITE’s modern tripod floor lamp is a great fit. The replaceable fabric lampshade and iron legs of the tripod help this lamp match with light colored modern style rooms. You also don’t have to worry about unsightly wires messing up the look of your room. The lamp’s E26 socket also lets it fit most E26 base light bulbs up to a max 60W.

If you want to make corners or walls stand out with lighting, then torchiere floor lamps are a great choice. LEONLITE’s torchiere floor lamps have adjustable light heads, letting you direct the light as you want it. They are also dimmable, letting you set the brightness level as you need. There is even a model that changes color temperature, letting it be used for different applications and different interior styles that have different color temperature needs.

Color temperature is also a factor in determining what lamp you will use where. Lamps with warm white or soft white color temperature works well with brown woods and warm colors. Lamps that have a cool white color temperature are better for rooms with mostly cool and white colors. Color temperature should always be considered when choosing a floor lamp for your interior space.

Another thing to consider is placement. Is the size of your floor lamp right for the space you’re placing it? Is the lamp too big? Are you creating the right ambience by placing the lamp here? These are going to be some questions that you will ask yourself when deciding on a floor lamp and where you’re going to place it.

Floor lamps are a great piece to have in your interior. Adding to both the décor and the overall lighting, floor lamps come in many styles. Make sure that you’re choosing the right floor lamp for your interior space.
